The Christmas Caroling scheduled for Friday the 15th December, will now be meeting at Tara Wickhams home on the corner of 10th and Boundary.
When? Wednesday, November 15th, 6:30 to 8:30pm
Where? Elks Lodge on 4th Avenue by Ralphs.
Why? Have your voice heard by the Subarea Planning Committee, and ultimately the city.
Once again, the Eastside Neighborhood Association will be sponsoring block parties in locations around our neighborhood. This year they will be held on Friday, August 4th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The party hosts will provide some food and activities. Neighbors who attend will be asked to bring a potluck dish or beverage.
This will be the second year that we will be conducting these parties. Last year, they were very well-attended and received a lot of good feedback. The goal of the parties is to help members of the Eastside Neighborhood get to know each other and talk about ways to make our neighborhood safer and more connected.
We anticipate the parties will be held on the same four blocks as last year:
- 5th Ave SE between Fir & Fairview
- Sawyer St SE between 7th & 9th
- Lybarger St SE between 10th & Union
- McCormick St SE between 13th & 14th
