City Council Review and Decision: The City of Olympia is in the final stage of updating its Comprehensive Plan – a process that began in 2009. Now is your chance to provide comments directly to the City Council.

Proposal Available Online: The City’s “Imagine Olympia” webpage – Imagine Olympia – will soon be updated for easy access to the proposal and lots of other information, including how to have your voice heard.

Coming Soon:  On Monday, June 30, a revised draft of the proposed Plan – with changes suggested by the Council – will be posted on the website. That draft will be the basis for the Council’s public hearing. Want a copy? Email im************@***********wa.us, or call 360.753.8314.

Proposed Land Use Zoning Change – Along Eastside Street

Greetings,

At or after 6:30 p.m. on June 16th, the Olympia Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing regarding the land use zoning of the two Capitol View office blocks east of the Smith Building. Although formal notice of that hearing, including direct mailing to nearby property owners, probably will not be issued until next week, I wanted to be sure that you as a neighborhood representative had as much notice of this hearing as possible. The attached document provides a summary of the issue that will be presented to the Commission.
