The Eastside Neighborhood Association is launching our neighborhood’s first Subarea Plan (Plan). The Plan will help further the goals, policies, and values of Olympia’s Comprehensive Plan at the neighborhood level. It will include broad and diverse community participation to improve the aspects of our neighborhood that are important to us.
This plan will lay the foundation for a neighborhood that provides an improved quality of life for all people who are a part of our community.
To learn about or participate in this process, visit the Subarea Plan webpage on the ENA website.

Once again, the Eastside Neighborhood Association will be sponsoring block parties in locations around our neighborhood. This year they will be held on Friday, August 4th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The party hosts will provide some food and activities. Neighbors who attend will be asked to bring a potluck dish or beverage.
This will be the second year that we will be conducting these parties. Last year, they were very well-attended and received a lot of good feedback. The goal of the parties is to help members of the Eastside Neighborhood get to know each other and talk about ways to make our neighborhood safer and more connected.
We anticipate the parties will be held on the same four blocks as last year:
Please mark your calendars. We’ll be sending another notice about the parties within a couple weeks, confirming the locations and other details. If you have any questions, please contact Roger Horn ([email protected]) or Whitney Bowerman ([email protected]).
