Please support the Eastside Neighborhood Association, a nonprofit organization.
Although membership dues are not compulsory (just living in Eastside Neighborhood resident makes you a member!), the annual $10 membership dues help support the publication of the newsletter and other projects the Association undertakes, such as the successful Neighborhood Sign project.
To join as a member, send your name and address with $10.00 per household to the PO Box listed above. Please contact to request a Community Rebate Card, and there is a limited supply of the current edition of the ENA newsletter available.
The way to support the ENA is to participate in the events, and to talk to your neighbors. Another great way to show support is the Community Rebate Card; the ENA receives 1% of your total purchase amount as a donation.
Neighborhood FAQs
Q. What can I do about an abandoned property or overgrown brush that presents a fire hazard?
A. Fill out an online form with the City of Olympia Code Enforcement Department.
Q. What can be done about sidewalks that are blocked by parked cars, overgrown brush, or debris?
A. Let us know, and through our Neighborly Assistance Program, we will notify the property owners that the sidewalk in front of their home is difficult to use. If this effort fails, we will contact the city, as blocking public sidewalks is against city code. Contact the ENA President.
Q. I have an idea about how to improve the neighborhood, how can I inform the board?
A. Attend one of our monthly board meetings, held the third Thursday of almost every month. Contact the ENA President to find out the meeting location, and to be placed on the agenda.
